One of the artists who has recorded at The Old Church studio is pianist, composer and dialect poet James Tait. His family roots at Barrowburn Farm in upper Coquetdale, 16 miles west of Rothbury, stretch back more than 175 years, as he explained to STEWART BONNEY.
